Storrie Ridger

Versatility

The Robertson Storrie Ridger Drill has been developed for the sowing of brassica crops on ridges using the latest technology and the experience gained by our pioneers of ridging back in the early days. The first Storrie Ridger was sold in 1902 and Storrie ridgers were continually developed and manufactured through into the late 1960's with hundreds being produced.
Robertson Manufacturing purchased the intellectual property rights of the Storrie Implement Company in 2006 and set about designing a Ridger for today’s farming needs with larger operations and larger tractors and the need for better green feed crops.

The Ridger has heavy duty disc blades to form the ridge and the machine is ground driven through a variable speed gear box. It also features stainless steel seed and fertiliser boxes, 1 seed box and 2 fertiliser boxes, 1 fertiliser box supplying fertiliser under the ridge for the roots of the plant to feed on while growing and the other box supplys an instant amount of fertiliser for the initial establishment of the plant.
Heavy duty cast roller moulders then pack the ridge for the perfect seed bed.
The Ridger has hydraulic lift for transport and to engage or disengage the drive.
